When it comes to LED signage, the viewing distance is the most crucial factor. If your sign will be viewed from a long distance by people driving fast in a car, you need to opt for a larger character size to ensure it is readable. As a general rule, you need at least two inches of character height for every 100 feet of viewing distance to make it legible. For full-color signs with image and video support, you may need a bigger size to leave a better impact on viewers.
